Kirsten Wright, MA, LPC
Life is messy and sometimes we need help to get through it. My desire in counseling is to empower people to experience hope, healing, and change. I create a safe space to feel heard, so people can explore thoughts, feelings, and better get to know themselves. Utilizing a strengths-based approach, I focus on the unique gifts that make up each person to help process challenging issues. I believe healing takes place in the context of relationship and aim to foster a collaborative and authentic one to help people progress towards their goals. It takes courage and strength to enter into a counseling relationship, so I find it an honor and a privilege to share in the story of people I work with, to help them navigate through life’s difficulties.
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling from Cornerstone University with integrative studies in Bible and Theology. I work with individuals and groups ages high school through adult who are wanting support with emotional concerns like anxiety and depression, trauma, self-esteem, spiritual direction, educational struggles, communication challenges, and career exploration/change.
