Amanda Russ

MS, LPC

I get so much fulfillment and pride in being a therapist, and I strive to bring that passion into my practice. I aim to build your teenager or child's narrative of therapy as one that is as empowering as possible for them to feel capable in tackling their personal challenges. Together, your child and I will promote their self wellness as something that is not a chore, but a priority.

My background involves working with children and adolescents while implementing many therapeutic techniques. This involves learning healthy coping mechanisms, enhancing emotion regulation, developing effective social skills, and boosting self-confidence. These techniques and more can expectantly aid with (and is not limited to) anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, adjustment concerns, OCD, ADHD, and trauma related stressors.

I look forward to helping my young clients achieve their best possible selves by recognizing their distinctive potentials. If you are a parent or guardian seeking support with your child, do not hesitate to reach out. Young adults and even adolescents, I welcome you to contact me as well.

Amanda offers exclusively in-person sessions at our Mayfair location.
